Wienerisches Digitarium

The DIGITARIUM is a collection of more than 1000 issues of the ""Wien[n]erisches Diarium"" (since 1780: ""Wiener Zeitung""), which are made available in full text. The collection contains two databases: 1. more than 300 issues, evenly distributed over the 18th century, and 2. all 700 issues published during the Seven Years' War (1756-1762). These are indexed by person and subject. All newspaper texts were created using the AI-supported platform ""Transkribus"", transformed into XML/TEI format, corrected where necessary and annotated with facsimiles and made available online in the DIGITARIUM web application. This is based on the static cookie cutter and offers a full-text search with numerous other query options using Typesense.
