LAPIS-maps is the mapping and one of the visualization tools from the context of the LAPIS language platform. The software application enables quantitative, geographically focused analyses with LAPIS data sets. LAPIS-maps allows the mapping of classified (annotated) language data from various language projects (see for example LexAT). Specific linguistic variants can be mapped or contrasted on a map with other alternating language variants in the language area concerned.

LAPIS-maps is based on Vue.js and Typescript utilizing the MapLibre Library.
