The Digital Dictionary of Damascene Arabic was one of the first lexical VICAV resources. It was created as part of Stephan Procházka's textbook on the spoken Arabic variety of Damascus. To date, it is the only digital dictionary of the language of the Syrian metropolis and was mainly developed in 2012–16 with the help of colleagues who had fled Syria.

The dictionary is coded in TEI, and the VICAV website also offers audio material for this textbook.
