Tillich 1887–1933 – Letters
In cooperation with the University of Vienna, principal investigator Christian Danz, the project aims to create an open access, hybrid edition of the theologian’s letters between 1887 and 1933. Tillich, an eminent protestant theologian, was well connected with a diverse array of thinkers in social and cultural studies, and his correspondence offers further insight into the thinking of the scholar. As of yet, no critical edition of his letters has been produced, a gap which this project will fill.
As a cooperation partner, the ACDH-CH is responsible for the creation of the online hybrid edition and the long-term archiving of the TEI XML files.
