The CollectionCat (abbreviation for Collection Categorizer) is a lexicographically usable software application that is used as part of the long-term project "Wörterbuch der historischen bairischen Mundarten in Österreich und Südtirol" (WBÖ). The main function of this tool is to combine the individual keywords into a collection and, depending on their meaning and regional or temporal relevance, to assign them an individually nameable tag. An automatically generated numbering system allows the link to the WBÖ entries. In addition, the work steps and responsibilities involved in writing a dictionary article can be documented and assigned in a lemma database.
A total of 2,432,876 transcribed database entries are available in theCollectionCat in XML format, which can be searched using a Dashboards Query Language (DQL).
