The digitized Glaser collection comprises more than 3000 squeezes, 3000 photographs and glass negatives, 15 diaries, as well as notes of historical significance from the Austrian arabist, scholar and explorer Eduard Glaser (1855–1908). The squeezes were 3D digitized using the Structure from Motion (SfM) method, while all other materials were scanned in high resolution. Additionally, around 700 of the squeezes were transcribed, translated, and encoded according to the TEI standard. IIIF manifests were created for the scans of the diaries and enriched with links to mentioned materials in the collection. All materials have been formally cataloged and assigned unique signatures. A large part has also been georeferenced.
