Die Beiträge des Bandes beleuchten die Verantwortung der Kunst und Kunstvermittlung aus einer explizit postkolonialen Perspektive. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf dem »double bind«, der das Feld durchzieht und sich äußert in einer dilemmatischen Position zwischen Subversion und Affirmation. Dabei werden sowohl diskriminierende Praxen im Feld entlarvt als auch eine (auto-)kritische Theorieentwicklung vorangetrieben. | ||
