... absolvierte ein Masterstudium "Katholische Theologie" an der Karl-Franzens Universität, Graz, und ein Bachelorstudium "Software Design" an der FH Joanneum, Graz / Kapfenberg. Er arbeitete als Universitätsassistent am Institut für Neutestamentliche Bibelwissenschaft, Graz, sowie am Vestigia Manuscript Research Centre, Graz. Danach war er als Softwareentwickler in der Logistikindustrie tätig, und arbeitet seit 2021 ebenfalls als Softwareentwickler in einem Verlagshaus. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen im Bereich der automatischen Verarbeitung von Sprachen des antiken Nahen Ostens, im Bereich digitale Lexikographie und des digitalen wissenschaftlichen Edierens. Im Bereich der Softwareentwicklung liegt sein Fokus auf den Sprachen XSLT und XPath, Java und JavaScript.

Am ACDH-CH ist Mag. Klampfl Teil der Forschungseinheit DH Forschung&Infrastruktur. Er arbeitet für die FWF Projekte Dictionary of Loanwords in the Midrash Genesis Rabba, The Wissembourg Priscian Glosses, und das FWF Projekt (Ps.)-Athanasius, Expositiones in Psalmos.
