Die Differenz zwischen dem Wohnen im Westen und mobileren Wohnformen in Japan führt zu Reflexionen über ganz neue Konzepte des Wohnens, die zeigen, wie Begriffe des Unterwegssein oder der Migration das Verständnis von Wohnen verändern.Die Untersuchung von literarischen Texten, Filmen, Theaterstücken und Hörspielen, von philosophischen Entwürfen und Architekturmodellen zeigt dabei eine Vielzahl von Wohnkonzepten auf - unbekannte, veränderte und auch zukünftige Möglichkeiten zwischen Wohnen und Unterwegssein.
