For young people, these are essential questions that shape their attitudes towards creation and evolution.
Ob Jugendliche den christlichen Schöpfungsglauben mit dem naturwissenschaftlichen Weltbild vereinbaren können, hängt nicht allein von ihren Kenntnissen und kognitiven Fähigkeiten ab. Mindestens ebenso wichtig sind emotionale und existenzielle Faktoren. Was bietet Sicherheit und Orientierung in der Welt? Was entspricht dem Wunsch nach selbstbestimmtem Denken und Handeln? Was stiftet Sinn und Identität? Für Jugendliche sind dies wesentliche Fragen, die in der Auseinandersetzung mit Schöpfungsglauben und naturwissenschaftlichen Weltentstehungstheorien ihre Einstellungen prägen.
