The »Paths to the Future« project accompanied pupils at new middle schools in Vienna in the first few years after they left school. The findings from a quantitative and qualitative panel study provide a detailed picture of the central phase of life, in which the course for future life chances is set. The articles look at young people's educational and career orientations as well as their actual education and training courses, at questions of gender, identity and ideas for the future as well as their space for leisure activities. |
