Karin Fuchs stellt diese Berichte ins Zentrum ihrer Studie: Welche Ereignisse deutete Guibert als Wunder, wie wurden sie kommuniziert, und welche Funktionen hatten überirdische Zeichen in seinen Schriften und für die intellektuelle Gemeinschaft, in der er sich als Mönch und Abt bewegte?
