The main tasks for stabilizing the protection forests are: 1) Silvicultural acceptable game densities. 2) Favouring shelterwood system and strip-femel system instead of clear fellings. 3) Intensiv tending of young stands. 3) Modernized forest management. 4) Financing the systematic, continuous tending of the protection forests.
