Dedicated to this issue, this work considers the extent to which tools of behavioral law and economics can contribute to the analysis and assessment of the need for protection and the instruments of protection. In addition to fundamental questions, individual instruments of protection are examined from the behavioral law and economics perspective and followed by insights from the copyright perspective. The interdisciplinary dialog promises a deeper understanding of copyright contract law. 
520 |a Das Urhebervertragsrecht dient weithin dazu, den Urheber in besonderen "Gefährdungssituationen" zu schützen. Worin genau die besondere Schutzbedürftigkeit begründet liegt wird allerdings selten näher erörtert. Der vorliegende Band ist der Frage gewidmet, inwieweit das Handwerkszeug der Verhaltensökonomik (behavioral law and economics) dazu beitragen kann, Schutzbedürfnisse und Schutzinstrumente zu analysieren und zu bewerten. Neben Grundlagenfragen werden einzelne Schutzinstrumente zunächst unter verhaltensökonomischem Blickwinkel und anschließend aus urheberrechtlicher Sicht untersucht. Der interdisziplinäre Dialog verspricht ein vertieftes Verständnis des Urhebervertragsrechts.
