Dieses empirische Vorgehen ist bislang jedoch nahezu unerforscht. Die interdisziplinären Beiträge des Sammelbandes schließen diese Lücke. Es werden erstmalig Studien vorgestellt, die sich qualitativer und quantitativer Techniken bedienen, um soziale Netzwerke visuell zu erforschen.
