Dabei sind wissenschaftliche Kontroversen für die Öffentlichkeit besonders relevant, weil sie oft Themen betreffen, die mit Risiken und Unsicherheiten behaftet sind.Anhand historischer und aktueller Fallbeispiele werden Kontroversen in der Wissenschaftskommunikation beschrieben und analysiert. Davon ausgehend werden Potenziale für eine Optimierung der Kommunikation ausgelotet.
