Ein zuverlässiger fachlicher Begleiter war dabei immer das »Handbuch für die Arbeit mit Konfirmandinnen und Konfirmanden«, das 1998 zum letzten Mal erschienen ist. Die »ALPIKA-AG Konfirmandenarbeit«, in der sich die für Konfirmandenarbeit verantwortlichen Referenten und Referentinnen der pädagogischen Institute aller Landeskirchen treffen und fachlich austauschen, gibt jetzt das Handbuch in völliger Neubearbeitung wieder heraus. Es ist auf der Höhe der aktuellen Diskussion auf diesem Arbeitsfeld der Kirche, verschafft Übersicht über den Stand der fachlichen Diskussion und bietet Praktikern in Ausbildung und Beruf einen gut gegliederten, leicht lesbaren Einstieg in die vielfältigen Themen- und Aufgabenfelder der Konfirmandenarbeit.
