Die Tagung bietet eine Plattform für Beiträge und Diskussionen zu innovativen Formen der Mensch-Technik-Interaktion, nutzerorientierten Entwicklungsmethoden, interaktiven Anwendungen und weiteren Themen aus dem Spannungsfeld zwischen Nutzern, Organisationen und Gemeinschaften und Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien. Die Fachtagung Mensch & Computer 2012 steht unter dem Motto "interaktiv informiert - allgegenwärtig und allumfassend!?" und reflektiert den Einfluss neuer Computertechnologien auf die Art und Weise, wie wir uns im Alltag informieren oder Entscheidungen treffen. Die Tagung präsentiert innovative Forschungsergebnisse, bietet ein Forum für den Austausch zwischen Wissenschaftlern und Praktikern und macht die Bedeutung des Themas der Interaktion mit Information in Forschung, Praxis und Ausbildung sichtbar. Der Band versammelt die Beiträge der Workshops und der interaktiven Demosession der Mensch & Computer 2012.
