Notes: | This squeeze is one of the very few in the Glaser collection which was taken from a bronze plaque rather than an inscription carved in stone. Although Höfner (1944: 37) [bib:N4ZHS9UW] gives Ṣirwāḥ as the provenance of the inscription from which this squeeze was taken, there is no doubt that the inscription comes in fact from Haram in Wādī al-Jawf, a site at which similar inscriptions dating from about the same period have been found. |
