Physical Description:1 negative
Notes:The text in this drawing, as photographed here, seems to have become reversed, such that it (incorrectly) reads from left to right. The first letter in the personal name in Line 1 looks like it could be either a waw or an ʿayin. In neither case is a proper name of this type known from the entire Ancient South Arabian corpus. Nor does a restoration of this name with an initial qaf suggests any parallels. Qayʾān (Qyʾn) appears as a personal name in one fragmentary inscription written in an unidentified Ancient South Arabian language (RES 4168), though in that case we have an alif, which the name in this fragment lacks.
