Biographical sketch

Degree in palaeontology from the University of Vienna. Since 2003, scientific employee in numerous projects, partially financed by the FWF, at the Institute for Anatomy at the Veterinary University of Vienna. From 2012 to 2016, university assistant at the Institute for Anatomy, Histology, and Embryology at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna and participation in numerous historical and prehistorical archaeozoological projects. 2016 habilitation with the venia legendi »Archaeozoology of Veterinary Medicine« Since March 2016, senior researcher at the OeAI, since 2024 group leader of the Bioarchaeology Lab.
