Academic background
Holger Waubke studied Civil Engineering at the Technical University of Munich, where he took his M.Sc. (1988) and Ph.D. (dissertation title: "Dynamische Berechnungen für den Halbraum mit streuenden Parametern mittels orthogonaler Polynome", 1996) and is qualified as an Associate Professor (habilitation in 1998/1999). From 1990 to 1997 he worked as an assistant at the Technical University of Munich and from 1997 to 2001 at the Schalltechnisches Beratungsbüro Müller BBM GmbH (Planegg near Munich). He joined our department in 2001 and is now in charge of the Physical and computational acoustics research team.
