The 24 articles discuss the following five topics: Archaeology and texts, with an emphasis on the Persian Period; Qumran, the Septuagint and the Textual History of the Hebrew Bible; Deuteronomistic texts, with a special focus on the question “What is ‘Deuteronomistic?’”; Wisdom and Apocalypticism; and methodological and interdisciplinary issues such as Bible and art and intertextuality. The volume gives readers an up-to-date view of the most recent developments in the research of these topics and the study of the Hebrew Bible in general.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Deuteronomistic history (Biblical criticism)</subfield><subfield code="v">Congresses.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Jews</subfield><subfield code="x">History</subfield><subfield code="y">586 B.C.-70 A.D.</subfield><subfield code="v">Congresses.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Judaism</subfield><subfield code="x">History</subfield><subfield code="y">Post-exilic period, 586 B.C.-210 A.D.</subfield><subfield code="v">Congresses.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="630" ind1="0" ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Bible.</subfield><subfield code="p">O.T.</subfield><subfield code="x">Criticism, interpretation, etc.</subfield><subfield code="v">Congresses.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="776" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="z">90-04-20514-4</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Nissinen, Martti.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="830" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Vetus Testamentum, Supplements</subfield><subfield code="v">148.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="906" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">BOOK</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="ADM" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="b">2024-05-22 08:21:56 Europe/Vienna</subfield><subfield code="f">system</subfield><subfield code="c">marc21</subfield><subfield code="a">2012-04-01 14:08:16 Europe/Vienna</subfield><subfield code="g">false</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="AVE" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="i">Brill</subfield><subfield code="P">EBA Brill All</subfield><subfield code="x">https://eu02.alma.exlibrisgroup.com/view/uresolver/43ACC_OEAW/openurl?u.ignore_date_coverage=true&portfolio_pid=5343710540004498&Force_direct=true</subfield><subfield code="Z">5343710540004498</subfield><subfield code="b">Available</subfield><subfield code="8">5343710540004498</subfield></datafield></record></collection>
