This dualism should be proved as a basis for a non-naturalistic philosophy of mind, through which a libertarian concept of freedom and of personal autonomy can be defended. This theory is, as Rohs tries to demonstrate, compatible with the theory of evolution. Peter Rohs was Professor for Philosophy at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster.
