"This book explores how entrepreneurship can be taught through case studies, arguing that entrepreneurship education needs specific cases and case methods to teach students entrepreneurial skills and mindsets. Providing unique perspectives and examples on how case teaching can be applied in entrepreneurship education, the book draws together a wide range of real-life case studies. Informing and inspiring entrepreneurship educators, Part I employs theoretical perspectives and practical procedures related to case teaching in entrepreneurship education. Novel and innovative case methods for entrepreneurship education are explored as well as the theoretical foundations of case-based entrepreneurship education. Part II offers 15 Nordic case studies divided into three main groups relating to becoming an entrepreneur, early-phase venture creation, and acting entrepreneurially in established organisations. Supplemented by online teaching notes, this thought-provoking book will be a valuable resource for entrepreneurship educators at higher education institutions. Questions and activities included in the case studies will also be useful for students with an interest in entrepreneurship"-- Provided by publisher.
