Le Vividhatīrthakalpaḥ, œuvre composite attribuée en grande partie au moine Jinaprabhasūri (entre le xiiie siècle et le xive siècle après J.-C.), est dédié à différents lieux sacrés jaina (tīrtha). Dans la tradition jaina, les tīrtha sont le plus souvent associés avec les 24 Tīrthankara et les endroits où se déroulèrent les grands événements de leur vie. Dans 63 compositions indépendantes (kalpa), le Vividhatīrthakalpaḥ célèbre les différents tīrtha dans la tradition Indienne des mahātmya. Cet ouvrage propose une traduction de ce texte et un commentaire de l'auteur en français. La traduction est basée sur l'édition de Muni Jinavijaya (1934) pour laquelle 9 manuscrits ont été utilisés. Un manuscrit additionnel inédit, conservé à la Staatsbibliothek de Berlin, a également été consulté. The Vividhatīrthakalpaḥ, a composite work attributed in large part to the monk Jinaprabhasūri (between 13th and 14 cent. A.D.), is a text devoted to various Jaina holy places (tīrtha). In the Jaina tradition these tīrtha-s are associated most often with the 24 Tīrthankaras and the places where they have lived the great events of their lives. In 63 independent compositions (kalpa), the Vividhatīrthakalpaḥ celebrates the various tīrtha-s in the Indian tradition of the mahātmya. In this book the author has undertaken a translation and commentary of the above text in French. The translation is based on the edition of Muni Jinavijaya (1934) for which 9 manuscripts were used. The author has also consulted an additional previously unused manuscript preserved at the Staatsbibliothek in Berlin.
