Beirut developments. The end of the book focuses more particularly on the regulation of the reconstruction of the downtown area of the Lebanese capital after the civil war. In the appendix is provided the annotated list of the main laws and decrees on construction and town planning. This documentary gathering constitutes a first step towards the creation of a corpus, necessary to re-read the recent urban history of Beirut through the rules which govern the actions of private operators under the control of the public authorities. | ||
