Summary: | Achilles tendon has always attracted a great attention. Its disorders include various problems from pain and swelling with bumps to functional impairment or even ruptures. Debates concerning aetiology and optimal treatment are still going on. A lot of efforts and research have already been put on to find the answers to unsolved problems and this book is an attempt to share (some of) these findings to the readers. If only one of the papers helps the therapists or patients in understanding and solving their problems, we will consider that the mission of the book was accomplished. |
