eng: In the present work it had to be explored that on the one hand it was tried to preserve exact data and facts about the signal trumpet which is based on different instrumental definitions and representation and funded historical and chronological research and on the other hand it was the task to explore the structure, composition and the historical development of the Austrian-Hungarian military calls, based on different sources, which mostly existed in the 17th and in the early 18th century in instructional works for the natural trumpet or the one which appeared in the military- and drill regulations in the second half of the 18th century. In the third part of the work it was examined how far the adoption of the signal trumpet and military signal music was relevant in the classical music and in the brass band. A row of representative examples, which contained authentically military signals or typical motives of signals are able to be listed in the area of classical music that can be related to the genre symphony and opera. The case is equally with the established area of military music and brass band in the genre march, Battaglia and military tone pictures, which motive and formal structuring is due to the integration of military calls. The deduced conclusion of studies shows three principal styles of signal utilization for the area of classical music as well as for the brass band: the adoption of authentically trumpet signals, the conclusion of fantasy signals and the use of motives, variants and quotations of signals.
