Sammlung von arabischen Traktaten aus der Feder von Raschîdoddîn Fazlollâh Tabîb (1247-1318; Rašīdoddīn Fażlollāh, Rašīd-ad-Dīn Faḍlallāh). -- "Much of the contents of the Bayān al-ḥaqāʾiq are devoted to political thought, theological questions, the exegesis of Qurʾanic verses and ḥadīth, medical matters, some reflections on optics, and advice literature. Its theoretical contents notwithstanding, the Bayān betrays its Sitz im Leben on almost every single page. Many of the risālas are dated, and in several instances Rashīd al-Dīn explains the occasion out of which the need of writing them arose. He also regularly states who was involved in the events and debates leading up to the composition of a given risāla, where and when it was compose, why a dhayl was ..."
