The 1974 General Elections in Malaysia / / Chandrasekaran Pillay.

This report focuses on general electoral trends and their relationship to the political development of the country. Concludes that the Barisan Nasional's victory should not be interpreted as a triumph for multiethnic politics; at best, it is a vote for maintaining interethnic ties of a type.
