Brasilien findet man hinter vielen Türen, denn die verlassene Heimat wird von Migrant_innen unterschiedlich aufbewahrt und täglich in verschiedenen Medien aktualisiert: in Büchern, Tänzen, Musik und Bildern, aber auch in Gerüchen und Kulinarischem. Könnte man also ein fernes Land in seiner Vielfalt und Prozesshaftigkeit verstehen, wenn man es in der »Migration« bereist? Amalia Barboza sucht nach einem relationalen und performativen Ansatz, um die Wege zu verfolgen, die sich in der Migration und in der Forschung kreuzen. Dabei wird ersichtlich, dass eine Nation ein lebendiges Konstrukt ist, welches immer wieder neu aus verschiedenen Perspektiven imaginiert und konstruiert wird. | ||
