520 |a Welche Verbindungen bestanden zwischen der Sowjetunion und Argentinien in der frühen Phase des Kalten Krieges?Mirko Petersen zeigt: Zwar waren die konkreten wirtschaftlichen und diplomatischen Beziehungen zwischen den beiden Ländern keineswegs markant, aber diskursive Bezugnahmen auf die UdSSR prägten maßgeblich die argentinische Politik unter Juan Perón (1943-55). Diese »geopolitischen Imaginarien« werden, den theoretischen Prämissen von Ernesto Laclau und Chantal Mouffe folgend, mittels einer innovativen Diskursanalyse herausgearbeitet. Besonders sticht dabei die »Dritte Position« des Peronismus hervor, die eine Alternative zu den Systemen der Supermächte darstellen sollte.
