Die Beiträge des Bandes widmen sich der Frage, inwiefern materielle Dinge als Überbleibsel, Reste oder Relikte Erinnerungsstücke und Zeugen für eine kulturhistorische Entwicklung sein können oder ob sie vielmehr ein ästhetisches Erlebnis ermöglichen. Diskutiert werden Differenzen zwischen kulturtheoretischen Ansätzen, wissenschaftlichen Ansprüchen und praktizierter Kulturvermittlung, die sich im Umgang mit Konzepten der Aura, der Authentizität und der Originalität herauskristallisieren. | ||
