Yet the term "agency", which has become the basic term of post-disciplinary social research, makes it possible that resistance and subjectivity can still be maintained despite this "death of the subject": It allows for the illumination of new aspects of doing and not doing, respectively acting, from the points of view of hermeneutics/pragmatism, group-analysis/ psychoanalysis and social studies.
