Jahrhundert auseinandersetzt. In ihren Arbeiten formuliert Höch nicht nur ein kritisches Statement zum Primitivismus und zu den westlich-hegemonialen Sichtweisen ihrer Zeitgenossen, sondern stellt auch eine geradezu postkoloniale Forderung nach einer transkulturellen, globalen Kunst auf. Denise Toussaints ausführliche Betrachtung und Neuinterpretation von Höchs Werken im Lichte postkolonialer Theoriebildung fügt der Wahrnehmung der Dadaistin eine bedeutende Facette hinzu und platziert sie in einem international hochaktuellen Forschungsfeld. | ||
