Vielmehr bedarf nachhaltige Entwicklung der kontinuierlichen Suche nach abgestimmten Mitteln und Zwecken.Stephan Lorenz zeigt, dass Chancen dafür in der Demokratisierung der Suchprozesse liegen. Den Sozialwissenschaften kommt dabei die Aufgabe zu, zur Verbesserung entsprechender Aushandlungsverfahren beizutragen. Es geht um die Frage: Wer und was muss wie berücksichtigt werden? | ||

Concepts of sustainable development often adhere to the modern promises of more far too optimistically. But merely turning towards »less« yields no better answers, either. Instead, sustainable development requires the continuous search for appropriate means and ends. Stephan Lorenz shows that chances for this lie in democratizing the search processes. The social sciences are given the task to contribute to the improvement of the respective negotiation processes. The question is: Who and what must be taken into account? | ||
