Aus einer an Antonio Gramscis Theorie orientierten Untersuchungsperspektive zeigt Angelo Maiolino die politische Kultur als eine hegemoniale Konstellation, deren Werte, Deutungsmuster des Politischen und Sozialen sowie Selbst- und Weltverständnisse mittels Konsens und Zwang stabilisiert und reproduziert werden. Dabei spielen die unter dem diffusen Titel des Neoliberalismus stattfindenden Wirtschafts- und Gesellschaftspolitiken eine entscheidende Rolle: Sie verlangen nicht nur neue marktkonforme politische und zivilgesellschaftliche Institutionen, sondern auch entsprechende individuelle Verhaltensweisen, aus denen wiederum kollektiv geteilte Werte und Deutungen entstehen, die in ihrer schieren alltäglichen Präsenz unhinterfragt übernommen werden und so in die politische Kultur sedimentieren.Der Neoliberalismus entpuppt sich so als ein wirtschaftliches und politisches Projekt, das auf eine ihn stützende und reproduzierende politische Kultur angewiesen ist. | ||
