Der vorliegende Sammelband dokumentiert den aktuellen Forschungsstand zu verschiedenen Mustern der "klangvollen Rede" von der Antike bis zur Neuzeit und ist somit ein Beitrag für eine fächerübergreifende Diskussion zum Gattungsbegriff der declamatio, aber auch zur Geschichte der Rhetorik insgesamt.
