Der gesamte appellativische Wortschatz des Althochdeutschen (ca. 30.000 Wörter) wird durch Zuordnung zu ca. 2.900 Wortfamilien, optische Verdeutlichung der Binnenstruktur jedes einzelnen Wortes, zugeordnete Strukturformeln, Bedeutungsangaben und Literaturhinweise strukturiert und erklärt. Zudem ist eine alphabetische Liste der isolierten Wörter (ca. 750), eine vollständige, strukturierte Liste der Präfix- und Suffixwörter sowie ein alphabetisches Wortregister vorhanden. The entire appellative vocabulary of Old High German (approx. 30,000 words) is structured and explained through classification into approx. 2,900 word families, visual clarification of the internal structure of each individual word, assigned structural formulas, definitions and references. The dictionary also includes an alphabetical list of isolated words (approx. 750), a complete structured list of prefix and suffix words, as well as an alphabetical index.
