Biomacht & Daten Sophie Reyer begibt sich in ihrem Buch BioMachtData auf die Spur von Daten und des Phänomens des „Dataismus“, der Huldigung des unbegrenzten Datenflusses. Sie beschreibt „Dataismus“ als eine Theorie, die sich zu einer regelrechten Religion entwickelt hat und nicht nur Prophezeiungen, sondern auch Gebote zeitigt: Vermehre den Datenfluss! Was so viel bedeutet wie: Konsumiere und produziere! Dabei rückt der Mensch selbst in den Hintergrund; die Freiheit des Informationsflusses und der Informationsflut wird zum neuen Wert. Ausgehend von Michel Foucaults Biomachtbegriff, entwickelt Reyer künstlerisch-philosophische Ansätze in Wort und Sprachbild – in Form von Essays, Monologen, Dialogen, Theaterfragmenten und Bildern.
