Summary: | Sub-volume II of Old High German Grammar consults suitable sources in order to present the basic structures of the syntax of the oldest precursor to German, from case, and nominal and verbal word groups to complex sentences. It applies a method that is theory-neutral, working with the categories and terminology of traditional grammar. |
