Das Gebiet der Abruzzen, u. a. mit den heutigen Städten Chieti, Sulmo und L'Aquila, besitzt reiches epigraphisches Quellenmaterial von Bedeutung u. a. für die Kultur- und Sozialgeschichte des Römischen Imperiums. Diesem und dem 2018 erschienenen ersten Faszikel folgen drei weitere, deren fünfter die Indizes zum gesamten Supplement enthalten wird. Das Supplement zu CIL IX stellt die vollständige, modernen Editionsprinzipien folgende kritische Dokumentation der lateinischen Inschriften der römischen Regio quarta dar, die Frucht aus drei Jahrzehnten Forschungstätigkeit von Marco Buonocore. | ||
