Stolz berichtet er von seiner Bautätigkeit, aber auch von den zahlreichen Ehrungen, die ihm widerfuhren.

While the originals have been lost, a Latin and Greek copy were found in 1555 in today’s Ankara. Augustus lays stress not only on his foreign policy successes, but also emphasizes his care of the people. He proudly recounts his building accomplishments and cites the many honors bestowed upon him.
