So werden einerseits grundlegende kommunikationstheoretische Begriffe vorgestellt („Autor“, „Medium“, „Kommunikationsform“, „Medientext“, „Intertextualität“ usw.), andererseits werden – nach einem kurzen historischen Rückblick – die wichtigsten sprachlichen Phänomene in den heutigen deutschsprachigen Massenmedien Presse, Radio und Fernsehen an aktuellem Beispielmaterial beschrieben (Mündlichkeit und Schriftlichkeit, das sprachliche Profil des „Moderators“, mediale Textsorten, insbesondere Nachrichten, ihre kulturellen und narratologischen Aspekte, Standardsprache und Dialekte etc.). Dabei ebenso berücksichtigt ist das Verhältnis der Sprache zu anderen Zeichensystemen (Bilder, Geräusche). Ausführlich werden auch massenmediale Texte der Neuen Medien und ihr Verhältnis zu den Texten der „alten“ Medien diskutiert. Diese vierte Auflage des Studienbuchs Mediensprache ist eine Neubearbeitung und Weiterführung der dritten Auflage von 2005. | ||
