Es ist die Vision von einer Welt, in der Gebäude wachsen, sich selbst heilen und positive Kreisläufe schaffen – eine Vision, in der Prozesse sich gegenseitig mit ihren Abfällen speisen und Lebensräume auf menschliche Bewohner als auch auf mikrobiellen Ökologien abgestimmt sind. Dieses Buch zeigt erstmals, dass die Vision dieser Einheit von Biotechnologie und gebauter Umwelt Wirklichkeit werden kann.
