From landscape to photography and back again
Landschaftsarchitektur und Fotografie sind eng miteinander verknüpft, ist doch erstere ein lebendiges, sich stets entwickelndes Gebilde, das durch die Fotografie verewigt werden kann. Welche Rolle spielt die Fotografie in der Gestaltung von Landschaft? Wie wird Landschaft durch die Fotografie neu kontextualisiert?Das Buch geht solchen Fragen anhand von neun Essays nordamerikanischer wie französischer Wissenschaftler nach: in Landschaftsgestaltungen in Europa und den USA von den 1950er Jahren bis heute. Ergänzt wird diese Analyse durch Gespräche von Landschaftsarchitekten und Fotografen und durch fünf Portfolios verschiedener Landschaftsarchitektur-Fotografen.
