Defeated by the Byzantine emperor Justinian, Theodahad was killed by his own subjects.In Theodahad, Massimiliano Vitiello rigorously investigates the ancient sources in order to reconstruct the events of Theodahad's life and the contours of sixth-century diplomacy and political intrigues.
