• Notes: This squeeze survives in very good condition by the standards of the Glaser collection of squeezes. It is one of the few squeezes in this collection to be taken from a bronze plaque rather than a stone inscription. The text is in raised relief.

1.Ḥaram bin Thawbân has confessed and re-2.pented to Dhû-Samâwî because he approached a3.woman during her forbidden period and had coupled with a menstruating woman;4.and because he entered a woman in childbed; and because he had en-5.tered (the temple) in an impure state and had remained in his impure clothing;6.and because he had had contact with a menstruating woman7.and did not wash himself (afterwards); and because he had sullied8.his clothing with semen. Thus he has abased9.and humbled himself. And he will pay a monetary fine. And may he be requited (thereby).
