• Notes: The inscription from which this squeeze was taken seems to have already been in a fragmentary state when the squeeze was made. The top part seems to have gone missing. As a result, what is here treated as the first line was not in fact the first line of the text in its original state.

1.[…] Saʿdum M[.]fikân and [their] sons ʾA-2.bîkarib have dedicated to ʾخlmuqu[hû, Lord of ]3.the Ibexes of Ṣirwâḥ, a statue of bronze be-4.[cause] he had granted him to be justified over Thawâbtha-5.[wâ]n bin Murâdum, client of the lineage of6.Dhû-Ḥubâb, against the accusation and the charge7.which they (i.e. the lineage of Dhû-Ḥubâb) had levelled against his son8.ʾAbîkarib, (and against the charge) that he had disengaged from his (Thawâbthawân's) son ʿAbdʿath-9.tar on the road with deceit(?). And behold that ʾخlmuquh had grant-10.ed him (i.e. the main dedicant of the inscription) the restoration of legal right for ʾAbîkarib.11.And behold that they expressed gratitude to the power and might of ʾخ-12.lmuqu<h>û when he restored to his servants their legal right,13.as he had vouchsafed to them in14.his oracle that he secured the protection of15.his son because he did not refrain from16.importuning him (with prayers) and requests for oracles from him17.regarding all (his affairs) that might be contested. And behold that18.his lord ʾخlmuquhû had promised him19.the [pro]tection of his servants from [his] wrath.20.And behold that Sharaḥʿathat21.and ʾAbîkarib have dedicated to their lord ʾخlmuquh[û]22.a statue fort he protection of their persons23.[and] their livestock.
